What Steps do You Need to Take to do a Criminal Search Online?

There are many people that get online to do a criminal search for one reason or another. You can easily do a free search online using the search engines to find sites that have a database of people with criminal backgrounds. So, what are the steps that you need to take to do a criminal background search online.

The first step you need to take is to find a site that does the criminal search. Once you find the site you want to use you will want to enter the person’s name. You will be able to do a free search to see if that person has a criminal background. The one thing that you won’t be able to do is to see the whole report.

So, the second step that you will need to take is to pay a small fee that will allow you access to the criminal report on that person. Once you pay the fee you will be able to download the report to look at when you want to. The time that it takes to get the criminal search done is only five minutes.

You will be able to see exactly what the person you are doing the criminal background search on has on their report. Some of the different things you will have access to are all their felony and any lesser charges and convictions. There will also be a complete sex offender registry search done, as well as a history of addresses, history of phone numbers, their financial information such as assets and obligations. Plus, it will list any known information on their neighbors or associates.

All I'm looking for is marriage/divorce records and I couldn't even get it.I know for a fact that the person in question was at least married and divorced 3 times but it keeps telling me to go back to the previous page and try again.Other informations I found like addresses and phone numbers are also either incorrect or outdated. Pls. update!

I used US Search today because I have a contractor working on my home renovations. I have hard the horror stories that some have had, so I ran my own background check as a precaution. Worked out well, the best $40 I spent all year!

DO NOT TRUST THIS SITE!Was charged $19.95 although I submitted request for a .95 search. Then when I tried to retrieve the results got a "no record in past 43 days".

Net Detective now charges users $29 every three years for their plain Net Detective service. As such, it leaves much to be desired. I had signed on back when you only had to pay a one-time, for-life fee. This basic package offered just enough data results to lure one into their monthly premium Net Detective Plus service. I canceled that plus service after a few months b/c it did not really add any useful data to my search results. Now that one has to pay a recurring fee just to use the plain vanilla net detective service, I would NOT recommend it for those who want more than just the basics [name, address, phone number] in their search service.
