I have been using intelius for several years. I negotiated a price for a large number of seaches. I have used and tried dozens of search programs. One company that gets high ratings is Net Detective and it does not compare at all with intelius. I find 3 to 4 times the searches on intelius as on Net Detective. David

DON'T PAY FOR A PEOPLE SEARCH! Aot of sites do give a free search but they want you to pay for results, when you don't know if it's the right person. Use all the FREE searches from the search engines (but don't pay) eventially you can narrow your search down. I did it and located someone I haven't seen in years and she even had a couple name changes from getting married. I even found her address. You could even use google, it works great. It will let you know if their in any other networks especially in advanced search.DON'T PAY!!!

I did not find the search from Intelius very helpful at all. It did verify all the info I had already dug up on my own but did not provide any new information. Net detective, however, did.

I'd give them a zero if I had the choice. I only searched for one name and then found a $20 charge on my credit card - that I did not authorize for some bogus ID monitoring. Stay away from this site.

Gave it a try by putting in my Husbands cell phone number, received inaccurate information for my fee, non refundable, for providing bogus information

Before using this service, you may want to use a search engine and look for the term "Inelius scam." A great deal of negative information on this firm you may want ot review first. Intelius People Search is a rip-off at best and then couldn't cancel membership.Ctrdit card bill showed their cost each month and finally had it cancelled by american express.

I found this site to be expensive for information I received, and the information was very minimal. In addition you must read the detais because I found I had unknowingly signed up for a $19.95 monthly service that I did not request or want.

They provided me with obsolete information and don't show the option to cancel my profile. They also hiddenly enrolled me in SavingAce, which I had to call to cancel to avoid being ripped off with an automatic perennial membership. They passed my personal and credit card information to SavingAce without my knowledge. I have been scammed. Stay clear of them.

DO NOT TRUST THIS SITE!Was charged $19.95 although I submitted request for a .95 search. Then when I tried to retrieve the results got a "no record in past 43 days".

They advertized that a name was available for a cell phone number from which my daughter received threatening calls. 72 hours passed before they informed that they couldn't provide a name, and time was of the essence. Terrible service. Misleading. Fraudulent.

STOP NOW. This is a misleading waste of money. The information provided is from public records and provides no date of last use. The information could be years old and be of little value. The PREMIUM CONFIRMATION SERVICES extra charge confirmed nothing. The Phone information is not from a phone company. Numbers shut off years ago are listed as current. They could not give me current any active phone information only second hand information as provided from public record with no date of last activity DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY>..

I used Intelius to back up another source I had on file. When I received my credit card statement, I found a much larger amount of money taken out of my account than the amount they initially ask for. I realized what they had done and called my financial advisor and ordered a new card.

I don’t know why all the negative reviews for Intellius, I have had nothing but positive results from them and I use them all the time. The first time I ever used it the information that I searched for was either not accurate or unavailable. I can’t remember exactly as it was a long time ago, however I called them up to let them know and I was refunded my money right away. Lately I have been using it quite a bit so I have signed up for their free membership which gives you something like 10 % off. Whenever I search for something that is unavailable, I ALWAYS get my money refunded without having to call them. However, most of the time I DO find information that is available and I find it reasonably priced. It is a pay-as-you-go service.

I was able to find my old roomate for 2 bucks in a couple minutes. Couldn't find him on any free site. Thought that was cool. Maybe other sites here would work but I tried that one first.
