Most Popular Social Networking Sites
Over the past few years social networking sites have completely taken the internet by storm. They have made it easier than ever to stay connected to old friends, meet new people, and find prospects to do business with. Here are three of the top networking sites you will find online today.
1. Facebook
What started out as a college based web site has completely emerged into a powerhouse for social networking sites. Facebook gives you the opportunity to chat with friends, build a profile letting people know a little about you, and upload all of your photos and videos. It is a terrific way to stay in touch with friends, family members and co-workers.
2. Twitter
Twitter is the latest to make way on the internet, but it has already made its presence heard. Every day you will see talk show hosts, the news anchors, and various sports programs talking about this networking site. Think of it as a simple way to let people know what is going on in your life in a few sentences. More and more people are using this site to find job openings and talk to employers.
3. MySpace
One of the oldest social sites that that remains a dominant presence today is MySpace. With this web site you have the ability to share messages, interests and photos with a wide array of people. You can send emails, post videos, share music and write blogs. Think of it as the ultimate social network experience. Whatever you are willing to let people in on you can share.
If you are trying to perform a search on Facebook, there are a few ways you can do so. The easiest way to do so is to enter the name of person you are trying to find in the search bar on the top right of the screen. You can also use the "find friends" tab which allows you to find people you went to high school, college, or worked with.
MySpace is fairly similar as there is also a find friends tab that gives you the option to type in a name and search for someone you may be looking for. If you are simply looking to meet new people and interact, you can also browse people, leaving the doors wide open for who you may meet.
The last site you may try to make a social network search on is Twitter. When clicking on the "find people" tab at this site you will be given a few different options to choose from. You can simply find someone you know by their username, first name or last name. You also have the ability to find them by through networks like Yahoo or AOL. The other two ways to find people is by inviting them by email or looking through the users Twitter has recommended.
Whatever social site you are on, you will find that it is easier than ever to perform a social network search and find who you are looking for.

Do not waste your money on this site. They mislead you by telling you that it costs $2.95, but then you are charged $35. When you tell then you did not wish to join and to please return your money, they say that they cannot because it was stated at the beginning that it is was not a "trial" but a yearly subscription that cannot be refunded. The information is conflicting and not accurate at all. If you do not MAKE SURE TO TELL THEM, YOU WILL BE CHARGED NEXT YEAR.

I really was impressed with the site and fee, until someone pointed out to me that they found this person to not be at the address I found, and I had to re-check all my findings and they were right. the former address came us as current, and the new address was a previous one. Hard to have to go through all of it again using a new site. boo Hoo

This site, as with all other sites like it, are guilty of misleading and/or false advertising. They tell you 100% free. Then try to charge you after you bite and want to get the info you thought was free. Just walk away, It's not worth your time...
