I would give ancestry negative stars. IT's terrible. I know more than they know. If you aren't from America, there's nothing for you here. Such a waste.

There is some info. But it's a crap shoot. People have to remember that the records on ancestry.com are elsewhere on other websites as well. And the truth is, the only records you can get from any website are the records that have been put into the system. Presently, that has a long way to go. A LONG way to go.

Like Ancestry.com? Not hardly. They're helping people find dead ancestors which helps people feel good, hopefully about themselves. Dead people can't be hurt, sort of. I don't like their agenda. Sneaky.

I was adopted and I would like to find my real family I have 5 brothers that I never seen and I would like to see them and my natural mother. I spoke to my mother when I was 18 and at that time she was in Tennessee . I was placed in foster care at 18 months and me and my sister was adopted in the same home. Now I'm 36 and have 2 children of my own PLEASE HELP ME! -Barbie

Was a member for years, but couldn't find anything on my ancestors that I couldn't find for free somewhere else on the 'net. They use info other people have voluntarily submitted and have the nerve to charge for it and make $$! Try www.rootsweb.com--much better!

You create an account, do a search & can't get the info you need. Then they email you a ransom notices that they’re holding your search results hostage and want you to pay to see them. Not only that, they have published my personal address, family members’ names, etc. I’m sick of these morons on the internet doing whatever they want just because they can! They have no morals at all.
