Completely outdated! No possibility to get your money back, because they clarify that some public records may not be accurate.

Found NetDective via consumer-warming.org. Don't trust Consumer-warning.org nor NetDetectives.Paid for NetDetective after a free search indicated records were available. After activation, told those records were on NetDetectivePlus. Paid $10.00 more. No records were found. Sent an e-mail to the company & called. I cancelled via a form you could not even e-mail back. Had to create a document attachment. I am waiting for my credit card to be refunded. If not, will contact the state Att. General. Don't trust either websites. Caveat Emptor for real!

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! Although Intelius is a reasonable search engine for $1.95, Intelius very deceitfully, in small print will enroll you in their ID Protection Program for $19.95 a month. If you do not scutinize your charge card statement they will continue to charge you $19.95 a month. This identical thing happened to a Wells Fargo Bank employee who works in the charge card department and she has received numerous complaints about Intelius unauthorized billings to customer charge cards. So do not use Intelius but if you must then be sure to check your charge card statement monthly.

Did a $1.95 search and they stated a monthly billing on my CR card for which I never signed up.

The new technical staff for Ancestry.com revamped its website, but in the process made it more difficult to get full census pages. When you click on an ancestor's census year to view the page, you get only 1/4 of the page. Then you have to go through a lot of time-consuming trouble to finally get a full page. Also, when you enter an ancestor's name and info for searching, you get mostly names and places that have nothing to do with your ancestor or where your ancestor lived. For instance, if your ancestor lived in New York, you end up getting a whole lot of records for European countries. Ancestry.com used to work A LOT BETTER, before the new Ancestry technical staff started messing around with the Ancestry.com website. As the old saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I've been an Ancestry.com user for years, but am not going to renew my subscription, because I'm frustrated and disgusted with the new changes that have actually made searching and finding the records you want more difficult and time-consuming. Oh...I did try contacting the technical people via phone, only to get a lot of answering machine messages telling me a lot of buttons to push for whatever. Ended up waiting a half hour, still no technical person. So I hung up. Lousy customer service, on top of the technical staff there ruining what used to work well, before they messed around with it.

STOP NOW. This is a misleading waste of money. The information provided is from public records and provides no date of last use. The information could be years old and be of little value. The PREMIUM CONFIRMATION SERVICES extra charge confirmed nothing. The Phone information is not from a phone company. Numbers shut off years ago are listed as current. They could not give me current any active phone information only second hand information as provided from public record with no date of last activity DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY>..
