This site was a rip off. Old info and didn't provide anything for the $50.00 they charged for their search fee. Don't do it!!

Intelius is a total scam and ripoff! I was so stupid to pay for the information that was incorrect and outdated.

0 stars would be more like it. They are deceitful. I found additional charges on my bill thanks to Intelius. When I called the 800 number to see what I was being charged for, they would not tell me where I was calling. I needed to provide a customer number, which I had no idea what it was, seeing I didn't even know what I was being billed for. Luckily my bank stepped in and I was refunded my money. Rip offs is their specialty.

I do not like this site! They scam you into a membership and once you come to realize that you have been scammed and call them for a refund you don't get it!

TRY NO STARS***** Bait was 1.95 for information. Said it was delivering report--then 19.95 membership dues popped up on screen. i wanted to run a crimminal and employment check on myself, so when i went on, i saw my name and mothers name listed as a relitive which made me believe that had info on me. so i paid the 77.00 dollars. found nothing, and i know i have a few criminal charges from about 5 years ago. and nothing came up which should be impossibe, no employment records, no criminal records, nothing. as if i didnt exist. i called customer service and was told they'd give me a FREE search! to which i answered if im not there why do i need a free search? and they just kept talking as if reading off a script how they;d give me a free search and what a valuable tool it is. "not for me if you don;t have any info on me"! i wanted a refund and then they just kept repeating they're NO REFUND POLICY! finally after speaking to 3 different supervisors telling them that it is false advertising if you have my name there to make it look "as if" you have my records, and then don't. so after close to an hour of this they finally agreed to refund my money in 10 days. why 10 days when it had only been 10 min.(when i first asked for the refund the first time. anyway, we will see if i get my money back. but i suggest not using thid fraudulent site. ill keep you all posted.

Could someone tell me what FREE means? It couldn't mean that these services are free because before you can get any information, there's a fee of $107.00 or more for a membership that started off being free.

All of these that you have to pay for are usually 95% (if not more)Wrong & a Rip Off! I Pray one day there will be someone you can report this to & have it Stopped! Fraud is Fraud!!! Retired P.I./Detective [...]
