Compare "Reverse" Phone Websites Here

A reverse phone number search uses a phone number to identify the owners name, state, zip code and even sometimes a street address. A reverse phone search is the "reverse" or opposite of a traditional search (ie using a name to find a number).

Unfortunately, local 411 services do not always offer this. In that case, an online service may be needed. If you are considering an online service and it is listed below please make sure you read the customer comments before buying. Some of these services are "better" at identifying phone numbers than others:

I signed up for Spokeo a week ago to get an associate's phone number. Since then I have learned that the associates phone is for an unrelated business, that my phone is one that I gave up 15 years ago, and my brother is female.

I knew my old roommates name and hometown and that's all it took. We were on the phone reminiscing 10 minutes after I first clicked to the site. As far as campers go, I'm a happy one.

False advertisement and a complete scam. After you pay it takes you to a different web site with no cell phone search options.

I went looking for a friend from high school on alot of differnt websites but had no luck, but then I tried PeopleFinders.com. The website was cheap and showed me my friends address and phone number. We hadnt spoke to each other in more than 20 years but when we were talking again it was like we didnt spend a day apart.I went looking for a friend from high school on alot of differnt websites but had no luck, but then I tried PeopleFinders.com. Horrible website. Confusing to use. You have to 'charge up' your account with cash to search. If your search results bring up with more then one person with the same name, you have to pay for each one till you can figure out the right one. Even then, you will not know if they even list a phone number or background history until AFTER you pay. If no phone number is found, too bad. Complete scam.

Actually, to give this program 1 star would be charity. All we wanted to do is find out who our daughter is talking to, using the phone bill. Out of 20 phone numbers to look up, it only found 2. And we already knew who they were. After not being able to provide any information, they attempt to sell you some tracing thing that costs nearly $5 a search. In my opinion, this program is a scam.

Net Detective now charges users $29 every three years for their plain Net Detective service. As such, it leaves much to be desired. I had signed on back when you only had to pay a one-time, for-life fee. This basic package offered just enough data results to lure one into their monthly premium Net Detective Plus service. I canceled that plus service after a few months b/c it did not really add any useful data to my search results. Now that one has to pay a recurring fee just to use the plain vanilla net detective service, I would NOT recommend it for those who want more than just the basics [name, address, phone number] in their search service.
