"It seems like you can find anything with a Background Search. I've found Arrest Records, Marriage Records, Driving Records, on almost everyone I search."

More Background Search Reviews

A background search gives users access to information such as criminal history information, address information, marriage/divorce records and more. The information necessary to conduct a background search is generally fairly little.

There are many reasons for using a background search, for example hiring a new babysitter, renting out a home and researching tenants, hiring someone for a new position or looking into the past of someone new in your life.  A good background search will search multiple databases.

The internet allows background searches to be performed more quickly and efficiently than ever before. Performing a background search does not need to be difficult, however, most of the merchants listed below do charge a small fee to access the report.

Well that was simple I just entered a small amount of information to see what I could find and got back a full report with had everything I needed on it! I didn't think I would find anything, so I was very pleasantly surprised by this service.

Completely outdated! No possibility to get your money back, because they clarify that some public records may not be accurate.

been verified is like ALL OF THE OTHER SCAMS! if you truly want to do a background check look up the municipal courts website for your county and state and the information is free for all to see

Found NetDective via consumer-warming.org. Don't trust Consumer-warning.org nor NetDetectives.Paid for NetDetective after a free search indicated records were available. After activation, told those records were on NetDetectivePlus. Paid $10.00 more. No records were found. Sent an e-mail to the company & called. I cancelled via a form you could not even e-mail back. Had to create a document attachment. I am waiting for my credit card to be refunded. If not, will contact the state Att. General. Don't trust either websites. Caveat Emptor for real!

Ask for credit card info, and then when you call to cancel, they don't charge your card anyway and when you call back to question it, tell you they have no record of your call to cancel BEFORE trial date is over, and refuse to refund because your free trial period is up. IT IS A SCAM. I can get as much info in the white pages, and the background info sucks. Use at your own risk; if you don't plan on keeping it, choose the monthly option because they amy say you didn't call to cancel too.

This is a site you really have to understand before just assuming how it works. After speaking with a rep I realized i was a bit wrong. Everything that is in the site is public information, you have to really learn your way around the site and sometimes not add a middle initial or city to find info, and in some cases after talking to my lawyer not everything in cases of jail and prison are public record this is agreat site for small search runs and backgroundchecks i found teh socail search works great found out my boyfriend was a part of sites i had no idea. The cost is low compared to iother sites the trial was worth it.

I signed up for the 7 day trial and canceled the same day. You have to call them to cancel the service, but the number is easy to find on the site and it only took a few minutes to cancel. They didn't charge me for anything (not yet anyway - I'll check my statements later to make sure). The information I got was very inaccurate, with wrong ages, addresses, and criminal history listed for about half the people I searched for. I wouldn't rely on it for a background check. Most of the information they give you is already available online for free.

I just think it's so hilarious that ppl would pay money to sneak behind someone's back to find things out about them and then get mad when the company they're paying does something sneaky. All of us are capable of the same things. We just do different things because of situations we are in and everybody makes mistakes. We should not condemn ppl for their past put yourselves in their shoes. Most people don't steal, sell drugs, or even kill because they want to. Mostly it's because it may be the only thing to do in that particular situation AND NO THAT DOESN'T MAKE IT RIGHT. Also think of how many ppl who've done things and never got caught. I'd bet my bottom dollar that every single person on this entire planet has done something horrible that they regret and have broken some type of law. No matter how minut or huge it was. RIGHT IS RIGHT AND WRONG IS WRONG! So what makes you so different?

Did you know Ted Bundy had no criminal record till he was cought. He escaped and killed again and was cought and finally put to death. The point is just because someone has no record does not mean a thing. In my case Im a victim of identity theft. I had to go to the state police and get finger printed to get 14 felony charges off my record and ive never commited a felony in my life. as far as people running background checks on someone they are interested in if you believe a computer rather then get to know someone maybe you should stick with your computer because you obviously know nothing about human beings. Makes me want to throw up..
